I fainted once and got a huge gash in my forehead. I got stitches and had to apply a sort of lubricant cream to prevent infection and to keep the scabs from getting dried out and re-opening.. so it sounds to me like she had some sort of cut that should have been stitched.
Silicone gel is use for managing and preventing scars. A wound that should have been stitched but was left to heal without can cause abnormal scarring. Silicone gel feels quite slippery whilst applying, so I do understand why half-witted Laura calls it lube.
Anyways, there is also a huge difference between infected and inflamed but I’ll save that for next weeks lesson.
