  1. Lauren submitted this. LAAAAAME.

  2. I don’t see the lame in this from either person. Caleb likes pollo’s chicken restaurant, Lauren loves her dog?
    Oh guys, that’s so lame.

  3. Well considering lauren is the one that posted it, i think it’s lame to fake putting down your dog just to get on this website. Lamebook really needs to do a better job with these posts, it’s not too hard to figure out the real vs. the fake.

  4. Maybe if it were her pet Chicken…

  5. Well then I guess there is lame in this. From the admins. You put unfunny junk up here from the douchebag that sends it but not my genuinely funny things? Tscheewwwwww.
    >:(

  6. WAAAAAAAAAAA they didn’t post mine!

    Shut up. You’re embarrassing yourselves.

  7. FAKE

    dumb ass bitch

  8. It would’ve been better if someone commented to tell her that she can’t miss something that isn’t dead yet.

  9. I never post here but this is not lame.

  10. It’s a pretty awkward misunderstanding, hence being posted.

  11. Not lame, not funny. Lauren submitted it. I haven’t submitted any spectacular posts, so I’m not gonna complain about them not posting mine. However, this site gets about 1 million hits a day, and has quite a few regular commenters and even more occasional ones. NO ONE has submitted anything better than this?

  12. Dog salad. Best of both worlds.

  13. “Pollo” is Portuguese for “Chicken”, dumb-asses. How would the dude even know about the dog?

  14. Sorry, not portuguese, Italian:

    http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_Italian_word_for_chicken

  15. It’s also Spanish for chicken. Yay for all of the languages this could possibly be in.

  16. The fact that “pollo” means chicken in multiple languages makes this even less lame/funny since Caleb actually used sense to come to that conclusion. Sense is something that is rarely seen on Lamebook.

  17. OK I’m new around here…how can you tell that the girl sent this in?

  18. It’s a screenshot of her personal profile because there’s the ‘delete’ next to comments.

  19. yeah, the only way you can delete comments from two different people (see the screen shot and how there is an option to delete Lauren and Caleb’s posts) is if the fb account is yours and you wrote something on your page (which you can delete since you wrote it!) and the other person that wrote on your wall (you can delete things that other people write on ur page that you don’t want up there). Because there are two different options to delete, it’s obvious Lauren is the one who sent this in.

  20. ::cough:: lamebook jumped the shark ::cough::

  21. You really should only be friends on facebook with people who know your current pet’s name.

Other than that, it’s lame to submit something because you’re butthurt. Stop being an attention whore, Lauren. Sorry to hear about your dog.

  22. Lauren you need a life. Wow submitting your own status?

  23. Clearly Lauren isn’t that upset or she wouldn’t be willing to submit this 2 minutes after it happened. Either she made this up completely or she posted it as a status just for attention. This girl needs to get a grip. Seeing as she’s clearly a Lamebook fan she should probably speak up on here, but I doubt she will as she’s obviously too pathetic. Loser

  24. This sucks. The ratio of lol posts to crappy ones is wildly in the crappy posts’ favour lately.

  25. ‘Galinha’ (gah-lee-ña) is portuguese for chicken.
    The more you knoooow!

  26. You’re Lame-Pollo was capitalized so they should of known it was the proper name of something, or someone. No one says, “I miss Chicken”.

  27. “should of”, eh?

You lose on the grammar front.

  28. Uh oh. Someone used ‘should of’ instead of ‘should have’ or ‘should eat soy’! Let’s ignore the rest of his comment. In fact, I have a rock that we can all throw at robert!

  29. No, genius, you can’t criticise someone’s grammar if yours is a bunch of fail as well.

  30. ^criticize*

  31. ^ignorance* (just to help you along, try looking up the UK spelling)

  32. I don’t think robert was criticising (or cizing) anybody’s grammar. He was criticising Caleb obviously disregarding the fact that 1) Pollo wouldn’t be capitalized, if it meant chicken and 2) no one says “I miss chicken” or “I miss Chicken”.

He definitely knew this was “someone” and was making a joke. I doubt he thought this was someone/something that was dead/about to die, but he made the joke nonetheless.

btw, Emlyn, was your “genius” sarcastic?

  33. The lame part is the fact that she named her dog “Chicken”.

  34. She means Pollo as in Polo the mint…’coz she’s a massive hole.

  35. Not lame, but curiously appropriate and absolutely true: the name ‘Caleb’ actually means ‘young dog’ . . .

  36. the only thing lame about this is Lauren submitting it.

  37. @ Hand – that depends where you’re from.

  38. I thought it was kinda funny. Are you not supposed to send in your own stuff?

  39. how was it even remotely funny?

making up fake deaths is dumb, not funny

  40. Another example of a social idiot.

  41. pfff, this spelling-checking sure makes it hard for foreigners to make comments.

    @it’s cool: thanks, i didn’t know that.
