The reason why those girls seems to be “loose” is that the traumatizing result of rape can confuse your emotions and actions. Sexual acting out is very common for rape victims.

In your statistics, you mention that 84% of men who commit rape don’t think they did. In defense of the male population, the laws tend to be unfair towards men in those situations. If a girl and a guy get drunk together and have sex, that counts as rape even if she said she wanted to. (at least, that’s the case in this state)
I think it is absolutely ridiculous that that is the case. Should women not be held responsible for their actions? I think a lot of girls could avoid most bad situations if they just learned to drink in moderation and walk home with a friend. As a woman, I don’t think we are promoting equality when we are held to a different standard then men for such a serious crime.

Or were the samples taken from various cities and states? Is it possible that the test subjects were all prisoners? How many people took the test? What were the age groups? etc.
Statistical information is great, but the control group information (not personal information like names etc) should be made publicly available so others may decide if the test was worthy of their conclusion.

@Pale: would you be so kind as to provide us with a reference for your statistical information? Were the test takers random people off of the street in one town, city or state? Or were the samples taken from various cities and states? Is it possible that the test subjects were all prisoners? How many people took the test? What were the age groups? etc.
Statistical information is great, but the control group information (not personal information like names etc) should be made publicly available so others may decide if the test was worthy of their conclusion.

I still don’t understand where those stats actually came from. As I stated above mine came from public records taken from crime reports(in the U.S. in 1996)
Now I never said I can tell who has been raped or not. As I stated earlier people take what I say completely out of context in order to make themselves look like a fucking hero(or whatever other unknown reason).

that makes roughly 17.7% of women being victims. this is a very rough estimate I know, but it still comes nowhere near 1/3 (33.3%)…actually closer to half of that
