I know a black guy at work, his brother and sister went to Ol Miss, the school that used to have the confederate flag on the field during football games. His brother and sister got pissed off when they got rid of it. They had confederate flag belt buckles and Ol Miss shirts with the flag on it and went to games and loved Johnny Reb. Now I know that isn’t all black people and maybe its just black people who went to Ol Miss but damn can’t people have what they want at their school?
Me, I don’t care for that flag even though I’m a southerner, for me the best rebel flag is the Don’t Tread On Me flag.
