Silicone gel is use for managing and preventing scars. A wound that should have been stitched but was left to heal without can cause abnormal scarring. Silicone gel feels quite slippery whilst applying, so I do understand why half-witted Laura calls it lube.
Anyways, there is also a huge difference between infected and inflamed but I’ll save that for next weeks lesson.
