@83: I think the “Parental Indignance card” is what made it so funny. At the end of the day it all comes down to a simple equation “Parents + Facebook = Embarassed children”.

As for the whole “Boz” thing. Lamebook should have usernames, that would solve the troll problem.

wot if his mother really is a prostitute. why would you become a prostitute in winter. surely summer is the best time of year for young men to be out selling their arse downtown. Is Christopher a crack whore? Why is his father/stepfather more concerned about his wife’s reputation than worrying about Christopher’s moral degeneracy and spiralling drug addiction. Donald is a disturbed man whose asshole-dad act is just overcompensating for confusion over his own sexuality.

Just 19 minutes after an innocuous “your mother” joke from one of his son’s friends, Donald rushes to slap down the Parental Indignance card.

He lacks a sense of humour, sense of proportion, and the ability to spell “deadbeat” correctly. And it’s a bit creepy for a man to refer to “my wife” when addressing his son.

Further, he implies that he considers all his son’s friends deadbeats, despite the fact most parents would be delighted to have a son who is unafraid to publicly declare he is “following in mom’s footsteps.”

Which is the crux of it – he fears his son is gay, as a projection of the fears he’s had about himself ever since that day he caught himself doodling an erect penis.
