You know how I know you’re gay? You listen to Coldplay.
Know what is even more lame than listening to Coldplay??
Writing a stupid comment withinin one minute of it originally being posted, taking a screen shot of your own lame joke 2 seconds later, and self submitting it……….
oh ya, STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
I like Coldplay. Sue me. And not for nothing, they put on a fantastic show. When I saw them, though, my concert buzz was killed somewhat when they brought the then chubby Shane Warne up on stage with them. I mean, what the fuck? Never been a fan of Warnie, but I’ll admit that I preferred him when he was meatier. These days, he looks like an anorexic plastic tragic. Cricketing hero turned Liz Hurley’s bitch.
Animals, Brothers & Sisters, I have A Message. There is a Warning Sign of Trouble. Yellow Crests of Waves from the Sleeping Sun are approaching at the Speed of Sound. The World Turned Upside Down.
Don’t Panic, Everything’s Not Lost. Help is Around the Corner. We will be Moving to Mars. The Hardest Part will be the Sparks of Murder and other Things I Don’t Understand. But We Never Change, so Yes, Talk about the Major Minus the X&Y.
Set your Clock to 1.36. The Escapist will Fix You. Bring your Parachutes. See You Soon.
Radio-friendly, generic, hum-drum, un-original, so-so, forgettable=Coldplay, in my opinion. It’s funny, NONE of my musicians friends like them, only my friends with otherwise poor taste in music to be completely honest that only listen to stuff that the radio/t.v introduced to them, it seems. I don’t think they’re anywhere near the worst pop band right now though.
Gang Stalking is a systemic form of control, which seeks to destroy every aspect of a Targeted Individuals life. Using occupational health and safety laws, warning markers can be added to a targets file. Individuals can be added to a Threat Assessment List for monitoring. Once a target is flagged, a notification is sent out, and the target is followed around 24/7 by the various communities that they are in. A covert investigation might be opened, and electronic means used by the civilian spies as part of the covert monitoring and surveillance process.
The citizen informants can be parts of these community oriented programs, but are often just average citizens. Everyone in the targets life is contacted, advised as to why the individual has been listed or flagged. Advised not to discuss the notification and asked to be a part of the ongoing, never ending monitoring (systemic harassment) process. This process is covertly designed to destroy the target over time, leaving them with no form of support.
It’s amazing how times change. Ten years ago nobody said a bad word about Coldplay, who I always thought were average at best.
Shane Warne is Liz Hurley’s bitch? I’m glad I’ve been occupying myself with more important things in life, making me oblivious of the life of this overrated bogan. What he could contribute to music has left me baffled but I’m not going to waste too much time thinking about it.
LOL “there goes that theory out the window” just by you claiming to have exceptional musical tastes? How do I know you actually do? What do you got? And if you mention another generic, super radio-friendly band I’ll be very disappointed. Did i say “musician”? I meant “good musician” haha….And no, being a musician doesn’t make your tastes better, but it does tend to make them more carefully thought out. Being a musician does tend to make one more inclined to pick out intricacies, consider the musical choices the artist made against what they could have, have a grasp on whether the musicians are intermediate or expert, tell what kind of “electronic assistance” the band is receiving (vocal or instrument), pass judgement on the production value, etc, etc…. When I meet an incredible musician, I want to know what they listen to, cause you can BET it’s not going to be mediocre. Which is what I think Coldplay is. Just mediocre. Just alright. They don’t blow me away at ALL.
my tastes vary a lot. I’m currently on a postrock binge (God is an Astronaut, Mogwai, etc) but I like power and speed metal a lot too. Melodic Death Metal. Umm. I dunno, lots of stuff. Everything from In Flames and Bad Religion to Kings of Convenience and Tori Amos.
And good musician or not, my musical tastes are my musical tastes. I don’t need a “good musician” to influence them or validate my opinion on something so subjective any more than I need a political science professor to tell me who to vote for or an art major to tell me what paintings look good.
To each his own, but I personally like Coldplay and think that all the Coldplay bashing is just some new chic thing spurred on by 40 Year Old Virgin and people trying to be edgy, but if ya genuinely don’t like them, more power to ya!
I’ve never seen 40 Year Old Virgin. At least in my case, my intense hatred for Coldplay is purely the result of hearing them and finding them to rank as a crime against humanity. They have absolutely no redeeming features.
I’m not sure how disliking Coldplay implies liking Nickleback. I prefer Nickelback to Coldplay, of course, but I really prefer Godsmack and various European metal bands.
This is the comment section on a website. For people to write what they think. If you don’t give a fuck then why the hell are you reading it? Don’t understand how my opinion makes me an idiot?? Where did I say that my opinion is to be taken as the gospel?? You really lost me there. Also, I’m not a guy. What about all the other people that wrote what they think? Not sure why Anders and Chelle just got bent out of shape, that is SO fucking WEIRD and honestly a little creepy… Could it be that they are Coldplay fans that I offended? Honestly did not expect to get shit on for replying on a stupid comment section about a stupid band. I was talking to XVII… no one else… They made a statement that I disagreed with…They don’t seem to be bent out of shape at all, so why are you two???? Anyways… XVII- This is the first time I’ve ever even spoke or thought about Coldplay hahaha hey, if you love Tori Amos, you should check out Regina Spektor, she can be a touch hit-or-miss, but is truly a musical genius. The songs “Lacrimosa” and “Love Affair” are great ones to start with if you haven’t heard.
Wow, Gill. I think if you read back over the comments, it’s clear that you’re the one getting bent out of shape. I think you’ve read a bit too much into the one sentence reply I posted. Don’t get so worked up over the “stupid comment section on a website”, sweetie.
