Heating up greasy foods in a plastic bowl melts the plastic.
I recently read online that if you put something that might potentially leave a stain in your plastic containers, use cold water to wash it out. Hot water just lets the stains absorb into the plastic and set.
Bleach.
Baking soda and vinegar will clean that out really well.
